Summary

The Nuggets got their revenge on the Rams in a big way, knocking off the side by 13 points on their home floor.

The Nuggets welcomed Tall Black’s guard Tai Webster in his first game for the side after being signing earlier this season.

It was a welcomed addition, with the Auckland native putting on a show with 28 points including 6 3PM, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

It’s safe to say the Nuggets started off slow however, allowing the Rams to score 13 points before they got on the board and finishing the term down 18 points.

The team didn’t let it get them down though, fighting back in the second term to enter the second half with an achievable 11-point deficit to run down.

The quarter ended on a stunning Tai Webster buzzer beater, taking the ball the length of the floor and nailing a three pointer with three seconds on the clock.

The third quarter belonged to the Nuggets, in arguably their best quarter of the season the side piled on 35 points while holding the opposition to just 13 to turn an 11-point deficit into an 11-point advantage.

Todd Withers nailed three triples in the term, while Nikau McCullough added two of his own.

Once the Nuggets found their rhythm they held onto it, putting their foot down in the fourth to run away 13-point winners.

Corey Webster was the oppositions highest scorer with 18 points.

Michael Harris added another 30-piece to his season, doing damage from inside the arc and at the free throw line.

Standing in as captain, Todd Withers was a stunning picture of efficiency with 26 points from just 10 shots, including 5 3PM to go along with 5 rebounds and 2 blocks.
